WhatsApp is working on Meta AI voice mode with 10 different voices

This feature will be available to Android and iOS users soon.

Many large companies are working on providing AI tools and are busy incorporating AI-based capabilities into their applications. In this regard, WhatsApp is developing a feature for chatbot Meta (Meta AI) in which users can talk to artificial intelligence by voice and choose its voice from among different options.

Although this feature was not seen in the beta version tests, some sources on the website “WABetaInfo” report that the latest WhatsApp beta version for Android 2.24.17.16 update contains important information in this regard.

Meta AI voice mode with several different voices

Overall, this feature allows users to have a more natural and realistic conversation with Meta AI. According to current information, this feature is currently under development and users are expected to have access to 10 different voices in the Meta AI. Although this feature is currently available for the Android version of WhatsApp, iOS users will also benefit from this feature almost at the same time as Android users.

It is not possible to predict when this feature will be released publicly, but considering the users’ acceptance of the voice capabilities of artificial intelligence tools and the activities of large companies in this field, this period of time will not be long. Last night, Google also launched its artificial intelligence voice mode called Gemina Live.

Along with new sounds, WhatsApp will soon add new personalization features to avatars to allow users to give their profiles a fresh look. Of course, this messenger will support avatar from 2022. Avatars can be a dynamic and creative alternative to a profile picture.

The new feature of WhatsApp is available in the beta 2.24.17.16 for Android. At present, the 10 voices that Meta has considered for its artificial intelligence do not have names; But each of them will be indicated by a different colored circle.

It is not clear how the Meta chatbot voices are different from each other; But we can expect that there are differences between them in tone and accent.
