Apple Has Big Plans for the iPhone 16 Series This Year, and AI is Expected to Be a Key Factor in Its Sales
According to recent posts by Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, Apple is planning a mandatory meeting for all Apple Store employees shortly after the introduction of the iPhone 16, which is expected to take place on September 10. Gurman notes that these meetings will be held on the evening of September 12 and the morning of September 13.
The Importance of Ai in the iPhone 16 for Apple
Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to be a critical factor in the success of the iPhone 16 for Apple. The company is betting that advanced AI features will significantly enhance the user experience, making the iPhone 16 more appealing and competitive in the market. This focus on AI aims to not only improve device functionality but also to drive sales by offering innovative capabilities that set the iPhone 16 apart from other smartphones.

In another post, Gurman also mentions that Apple has begun training retail employees on Apple Intelligence and expects this feature to significantly boost iPhone 16 sales.
Currently, Apple Intelligence is not expected to be available with the iPhone 16 in September, as its release has been delayed until October with the launch of iOS 18.1. Features such as writing tools, summary notifications, and the new Siri interface will be available at that time.
More advanced features, including Image Playground, Genmoji, and even ChatGPT integration, will not be available until iOS 18.2.
While Apple anticipates that Apple Intelligence will enhance the sales of its new phones, some analysts have predicted that these AI features could increase iPhone 16 sales by up to 10 million units.
