WhatsApp makes finding important chats easier

Last month, the beta version of WhatsApp for Android introduced a new feature called “Lists” for developers, allowing you to add people and friends to them. Now, this feature is available to all beta users.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of WhatsApp on Android allows you to use the lists you’ve created as filters.

For example, you can create a list called “Family” and add all your family members to it. Then, on the chat page, you can find “Family” as a filter. When you click on it, WhatsApp will only show chats from family members, making it easier to find conversations and thus saving you time.

On the other hand, users can display their status to a specific list, keeping it hidden from others they don’t want to see it.

Currently, there is no information about the public release date of the Lists feature. Considering Meta’s track record, this feature will likely come to WhatsApp in the next two to three months.
