Method 1: Using Telegram Preview Chat Feature

In Sep 2023, Telegram lanuched this preview feature. The Preview Chat feature in Telegram allows users to view a snippet or preview of a chat message before sending it. This feature provides users with the ability to review their message content, including text, emojis, and media files, ensuring accuracy and completeness before finalizing and sending the message. It helps users avoid mistakes or misunderstandings by providing a quick preview of the message’s appearance in the chat window before it is actually sent to the recipient.

You can press and hold the profile picture of any chat to preview its messages – without marking them as read. To see further back in the chat, simply scroll in the preview window.

However, this method can only allow you to view part of messages, if you want to read the whole Telegram chat, you still need to open the chat windows.

Method 2: Using Airplane Mode

This is the most basic method to read Telegram messages without seen. When you turn on Airplane mode, your phone cannot connect to the internet. This means that Telegram won’t be able to update the seen status of your messages.

1. To use this method, simply turn on Airplane mode before opening Telegram.
2. Then, go to the chat that you want to read.

Once you’re done, turn off Airplane mode, and the seen status will not be updated.

Method 3: Using Snoop and Look

Telegram has a feature that allows users to snoop on the latest news without being detected. However, it does not provide you with a way to monitor the entire conversation. This is how you can snoop on the latest news.

1. Open the Telegraph application on your device.
2. Find the chat you want to snoop on.
3. Long press on the user’s avatar in the chat list.
4. You will now see the latest news, and using this method will not mark the message as viewed.
