Jamnai’s audio assistant arrived-Google’s decisive response to OpenAI chatbot and Apple’s advanced Siri

Google’s new voice assistant is called Gemini Live, and it offers the same functionality as voice chat in ChatGPT.

At the Pixel 9 series phone introduction ceremony, Google did not neglect the capabilities based on artificial intelligence and entered a new phase of competition with OpenAI and Apple with the introduction of Gemini Live, the new voice assistant of the Gemini artificial intelligence service.

Gemna’s voice assistant, which will be available to subscribers of the Gemini Advanced service, has a very similar functionality to the WeChat features in ChatGPT. For example, the user can select the voice of the voice assistant from several options and communicate with it in a conversational manner.

Google says that the user can even interrupt Jamnai’s voice assistant during a conversation or answer it in the middle of a sentence, without having to press a special button or command. It can also leave the conversation halfway through and resume it later.

Jumnai Live will be active in the background and when the user’s phone is locked. At the time of the initial introduction of Jamna Live, Google announced that its voice assistant can understand the video simultaneously.

Jamnai Live service will be available to Android users from today (the day of the event) and will only support English language for now. Google has announced that in the coming weeks, more languages will be added to Jamna Live, and iOS users can also expect it to be available for their devices.

In addition to Jamna Live, Google introduced other features for its artificial intelligence assistant, including new extensions for apps like Keep, Tasks, and YouTube Music.

Also, Jamna now understands the content of the user’s screen, which is very similar to Apple’s AI service. In fact, the user can ask Jamnai about the content displayed on the screen and receive related information by tapping on the terms “Ask about this page” or “Ask about this video”.
